Before picking up your rental, you will be asked to sign a damage waiver as well as provide your credit card and a piece of ID which you will be given back once you return with the gear in the same condition you got it.

In order to be sure that we have gear available for you, please make a booking 1-2 days ahead of time so we can put the gear aside.

WHERE TO TAKE YOUR GEAR

After picking up your kiteboarding rentals, head to the launching area- the Spit. The Spit is about 12 minutes drive from downtown. For directions, stop by the shop or give us a call at 778 989 5483.

There are many places around Squamish to go paddle boarding. Choosing a location will depend on the wind and tide. The wind generally picks up around 10-10:30am, so if you’d like to paddle in the Howe Sound, it must be done in the morning- the earlier the better. The Estuary is also a beautiful place to paddle though it is both affected by the wind and the tide. The tide must be above 1.7m (https://www.tide-forecast.com/locations/Squamish-British-Columbia/tides/latest). Early morning is best before the wind starts.

The Squamish river is calm enough to paddle down but fast enough to make it fun. In order to do a river run you must have 2 cars as the current is too strong to paddle back up. We recommend getting in at the watershed and out at the spit. Alternatively all the lakes around Squamish are suitable for paddle boarding and are not affected by the wind. Alice Lake is our recommendation.
